We utilize a multi-pronged, thoughtful approach that focuses on healing the whole dog and empowering their owners. Your dog will learn huge amounts of impulse control (yes, even around balls, cats, squirrels, and food), healthier coping mechanisms, and they will develop a newfound accountability for the choices that they make.

… For LEASH REACTIVE dogs who pull, bark, lunge, and otherwise make walks stressful, dangerous, and embarrassing!

Would you like to experience the joy of one-handed walks in busy areas, relaxing on patios and outside at dog-friendly restaurants, and long walks throughout the busiest of city parks with your canine companion? Without reactivity or aggressive outbursts? Then this is the program for you! This package is comprised of THREE, 60-min sessions.  The first meeting may involve several other training dogs to work off of as controlled distractions, with the remainder of the program being a private format. We will assess the nature of your dog’s leash aggression, and determine the best training tools and techniques to communicate with the dog. We work in REAL LIFE situations, in public, that were once daunting and stressful for both dog and human.  You will learn how to properly manage, handle, and communicate with your dog successfully in a real-world setting.

After the program, your dog will be able to walk calmly, with a loose leash, past strange dogs, cars, squirrels, bikes, and people!

… For owners in need of ON-LEASH ESSENTIALS!

Have you ever wanted to enjoy a relaxed stroll with your dog in busy areas with high levels of environmental distractions? Enjoy a brewery or outside restaurant, patio, or coffee shop with your dog at your side, ignoring all dogs, humans, and distractions that may be going on around you? Stop unwanted problem behaviors in your home or when guests come over? Then this intensive program is for you.  The first meeting may involve several other training dogs to work off of as controlled distractions, with the remainder of the program being a private format. Comprised of FIVE 60-min sessions, we will leave you with a dog that can:

 

  • Walk on a loose leash, without reactivity or aggression toward people, animals, dogs, bikes, scooters, or other triggers and distractions in busy public spaces

  • Exhibit calm, neutral behavior in public & in the home; ability to settle and a built-in “off” switch

  • Hold place command (implied stay on a dog bed) when guests come in, while you eat, etc.

  • Understanding of the word “no”; great for stopping nuisance behaviors such as barking, counter surfing, digging, inappropriate intensity, jumping on people, etc

 

In this program, your pup will learn through relationship-based training to follow commands because he loves and respects you - not because he gets a cookie. Affection and inclusion are the ultimate rewards! You will be left with a dog who you can take in public and have out when guests come over without the risk of embarrassment and stress.

"LOYAL LASSIE" TM   $1899

… Intended for dogs with a bite history on dogs or humans, *OR*, for owners in need of both the ON AND OFF LEASH ESSENTIALS!

This is our most intensive non-boarding program, comprised of SIX 60-min sessions. The first meeting may involve several other training dogs to work off of as controlled distractions, with the remainder of the program being a private format. Upon completion of this package, you will have a dog that can:

 

  • Walk on a loose leash, without reactivity or aggression toward people, animals, dogs, bikes, scooters, or other triggers and distractions in busy public spaces

  • Off-leash recall with HIGH levels of distractions

  • Exhibit calm, neutral behavior in public & in the home toward strangers; ability to settle and a built-in “off” switch

  • Hold place command (implied stay on a dog bed) when guests come in, while you eat, etc., off-leash!

  • Understanding of the word “no”; great for stopping nuisance behaviors such as barking, counter surfing, digging, inappropriate intensity, jumping on people, etc
